Our sea turtle conservation camp is a hands-on experience not to be missed. Children and adults alike will delight in releasing these baby Olive Ridley and other endangered sea turtles and watch as they make their way to the surf. We are an eco friendly resort and we take pride in the increase of nest survivors since we started our program over ten years ago.
Playa las Tortugas has the perfect Mexican villa for you. We have custom beach front and ocean villas, some with private swimming pools and hot tubs. Each of our villas are unique with many Mexican and Mediterranean style influences. Open floor plans, Mexican telavera tile, thatched palapas on decks and rooftops. We are an easy drive from Puerto Vallarta, Bucerias, Punta de Mita, Sayulita, or Tepic, not to mention a fine road trip from Mazatlan and Guadalajara. Our beach and villas lie 70 miles north of Puerto Vallarta and about 50 miles west of Tepic, the colonial capital of Nayarit.

Lovely Casa Luna, at Playa las Tortugas, offers a wonderful and unique Mexican beach villa experience.
Several verandas and decks face the ocean...for you to relax and enjoy the panoramic view, listen to the surf and enjoy the many colorful birds! Our spacious two bedroom, two and a half bath villa, is equipped with all of the amenities of home. Casa Luna also has additional sleeping options in the living room area. A trundle bed, equipped with two regular twin mattresses, pulls out for a very comfortable night. Casa Luna has every amenity of home. Daily maid service and wi-fi are included in your rate. A well stocked dvd and book library are one of the many amenities at Casa Luna.The unique floor plan, with three levels of living space, offers a variety of choices for privacy or socializing. The rooftop palapa deck is the perfect spot for sipping margaritas or barbequing. A one minute walk through our tropical gardens brings you to the pool or the beach. Surf, fish, ride horses. Do as much, or as little, as you please. You are now in your own little paradise!
